Víctor Silva

Curico, Chile

The Chilean artist and photographer Victor Silva works on his works in two dimensions and formats that make up the totality of it.

The initial works, in small format made on paper, take on a new dimension and meaning when Silva transfers them to a larger format through photography. Here the change is not only in size, but it turns the piece into something else, subjecting it to changes in material, texture and finish, which consequently also implies a change in the perception of the viewer.

In his works, the representation of houses, flowers and natural objects common in everyday life is common.
